Founded in 1993 by Chicago native Tony Magee, Lagunitas is an American Craft Brewery of the highest caliber. Credited with developing the West Coast IPA style, the Maximus turns the IPA flavor up to eleven. A full-bodied malt character provides the foundation for the aromatic pine and citrus hop aroma. This Imperial IPA is big, but somehow is still a well-balanced version for the style.
